2net FTP Server
The 2net FTP Server provides FTP (File Transfer Protocol) connectivity for
embedded and hand-held systems. FTP is a simple and widely supported method
of transferring files between systems. An FTP server is ideal for field
upgrades, downloading large data logs and system development.
It is written as a small TSR that runs in the background without interfering
with the foreground control application. It has an integrated TCP/IP stack
to make it easy to configure and deploy. Access to the network may be through
an Ethernet packet driver or a dial-up link using the PPP protocol and dialler
which are also included in the package.
Features
- Implements the File Transfer Protocol defined in RFC 959
- Multi-user with password-protected log-in
- Supports anonymous login (may be disabled)
- Supports passive mode
- Operates in the background as a TSR
- Integrated TCP/IP stack makes it easy to configure and deploy
- Uses the popular packet driver standard for LAN access
- Dialler and PPP module allow dial-up access via any Hays compatible modem
- Small memory footprint: less than 60K bytes ROM or Flash, including TCP/IP (additional 40K bytes for dial-up support)
